ORIGINS
Although Mexico has grown Arabica for several centuries, Robusta only appeared in 1949. Refusing to treat it as a lower-grade coffee for the entry-level market, producers endeavour to turn this Robusta to its best advantage. As the fruit?s flesh is firmly attached to the coffee bean, they found out that one wash was not enough to soften the whole. So they developed a unique double wash process for the Robusta. This rare coffee also comprises Mexican Arabica.

ROAST
The Arabica beans undergo a medium roasting process, while the Robusta beans are roasted deeply at length, after having been washed twice. This blend of Vertuo Arabica and Robusta is medium-roasted.

AROMATIC PROFILE
Master Origin Mexico Robusta is double washed. Astonishing, don?t you think? The whole intensity of Robusta is refined by these two washes, resulting in a coffee with a rich and creamy texture that releases spicy and toasted notes.
